Sue, the Minutes Sectretary

Created by Susan 2 years ago
I came to know Sue as the minutes Secretary when I joined the Committee of Henley WI, about 15 years ago. Sue had a subtle sense of humour, which ensured the minutes always sounded somehow more amusing than some of the meetings had been at the time! She was always quietly working away, doing whatever needed to be done, making lovely birthday flower posies for members, playing the organ for the WI Carol service, organising us all to knit poppies for the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, sharing her love of quilting, always thinking about everyone. The world needs more kindness and Sue was always kind. Henley WI and I will miss her.
